Email Marketing Channel Manager:
JOB SUMMARY: Manage aspects of email marketing program including creative, implementation and reporting. Manage creation of thrust, newsletter,
auto responders, static and form pages. Create or manage gathering of content for emails, blog, PR Releases, article directories and static web pages.
E-Commerce experience a must. Catalog industry experience preferred. Proficiency in Excel, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, ImageReady, XHTML, CSS and Illustrator
required. Must be highly organized and be able to work in collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Create, load and send weekly emails including thrust, newsletter and auto-responders.
- Generate, update and distribute email metrics reports in a timely manner. Understand relevance of metrics reported to identify trends or issues.
- Create campaign summary and interpretations for management.
- Create / update static pages associated with email marketing campaign.
- Design graphics and static web pages for e-com channels as needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess
strong oral and written communication skills. A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, ImageReady, XHTML,
CSS, search engines and E-commerce are required. The successful individual will have a proven ability to make tight deadlines and be extremely detail
oriented. This position requires strong writing skills. This individual will be self-motivated and self-directed, exhibit creative and independent
thinking and enjoy a constantly changing and evolving environment, have decision-making capability and ability to delegate tasks as required. This
position is part email marketing guru, part graphic designer, part HTML page designer/coder and part new media professional and has explosive
growth potential.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- 2-4 year degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
- 2-4 years related experience in e-commerce environment.
- Thorough knowledge of direct mail catalog industry.
- Several years in graphic and web design.
- Or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

Seasonal Employment
