 And then on the chic Via Borgognona in Rome, among the exclusive shops from Prada, Bulgari and Gucci we stumbled across this impressive chronograph from Stührling. Inside, Ronda’s Startech 5030.D Swiss Quartz Chronographic movement features 6 jewels, add and split functions (with seconds, minutes and 12-hour counter), and a Quick-Set Date Complication — the identical quartz movement used by many luxury brands.
 And Stührling has housed the superb Ronda Movement in an imposing 316L surgical-grade, stainless-steel case that looks like it was carved from a solid billet! Black PVD coated Decagonal Bezel features “S”-logo’d screw heads. Black-Diamond embossed dial creates a dramatic backdrop for Super Luminova-tipped hands that glow like meteors at night. Red sweep-stop second hand even sports the Stührling signature “S” on the tail. And screw-down, black PVD coated caseback ensures true water resistance down to 100 meters (330 ft.) — so you can snorkel off the coast at Cannes, then hop the Eurotrain to Lake Cuomo in Northern Italy, with impeccable timing!
