Inspired by the Sea, Discovered in Palm Beach, Made in America — The Perfect Glass for Drinking in Life's Little Luxuries This Summer!

We stumbled upon these beautifully etched glasses while vacationing in Palm Beach this past January, and tracked down the artist to a small town in Western Pennsylvania. There a German immigrant started his own glassmaking business. A 3rd generation glassmaker, he quickly carved out a niche with his ornate designs inspired by the sea. The Palm Tree and Starfish designs are diamond-cut to create swirling frosted patterns of deeply faceted trunks and sweeping palms; or a soothing seascape of swaying seagrass and graceful starfish. The Sailboat glasses are etched using a multi-step process, with the pattern worn away layer by layer — required by its more intricate design. A beautiful addition to any summer or vacation home, and a great gift for the hostess or captain! Dishwasher safe. Made in America.
