50% Off! Discovered in London, the Beretta Lightweight Collection That Keeps You Cool In Italy’s Summer Heat; Fits Right In at Ferrari’s Maranello Auction.
Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta, S.p.A, or simply “Beretta” to James Bond, “Q”, and other connoisseurs of quality, is the world’s oldest industrial firm, enduring for nearly 500 years of continuous operation. They are of course the world’s most respected gunmaker, and as I discovered recently in London, makers also of exceptionally fine sportswear. Located on chic St. James Street, right around the corner from the historic Ritz on Picadilly, Beretta’s London Emporium is one of just six such galleries worldwide. Detouring to RM’s Ferrari Auction in Maranello, I badly needed suitable clothing to endure Italy’s infamous summer heat. So I turned to Beretta, figuring who better than Italy’s oldest firm would understand the needs of travelers to Northern Italy? Here is just one of my favorite acquisitions.
Coolness — Beretta’s Seersucker World Traveler shirts look great in a variety of social settings, and travels exceptionally well. The natural cooling of 100% cotton, with a woven-in ability to hide wrinkles, makes Beretta Seersucker the perfect partner for trips to the tropics.
Infused with permanent wash-and-wear treatment, so you can hand wash in the hotel, hang dry, and look freshly pressed by morning! Button tabs let you keep the sleeves rolled up in the heat of the day, and let them down when the evening cools. Men’s M-XXL in Blue, Green, Beige or Rust. Machine washable.
