Our Aged Adirondack Wooden Signs Give Your Den, Camp or Cottage a Down-Home, Rustic Feel.

We first spotted these signs in the Adirondacks, where fabulous Great Camps from the 1930's have been converted from the personal playgrounds of the Vanderbilt's, Mellon's and Carnegies, into exclusive retreats for those desiring a rustic, yet lavish, experience. Now they're made for us out of solid aged pine, hand cut by Mennonite craftsmen, with pieces chosen for nicks and markings that look more rustic.

The wood is then distressed to replicate barn wood, before hand painting the letters you choose. While they make great indoor decorations, these heavy signs are treated to withstand outdoor elements. Made from two boards affixed together for greater depth, with 5" tall, weathered letters (up to 13 characters will fit, including any blank spaces or punctuation between words). The length of each sign is determined by the number of letters you choose — a 13-character sign is about 71" long — fewer characters shorten the sign, but the price remains unchanged. Please choose Weathered Grey, Barn Red, or Boathouse Brown hand staining, each with complementary colors blended in for character.
