Bettinardi putters have a strong, loyal following on tour, amassing 70 victories (including one major!) without shelling out top dollar for sponsorships. Matt Kuchar teamed up with Bob Bettinardi to create a perfectly balanced putter that would shave strokes off his short game. The results speak for themselves — the Model 1 Putter is featured on the 2015 Golf Digest Hot List, and Matt has enjoyed 3 wins, and 2 years of top 10 finishes on the money list! Once the Model 1 is in your hands, you will appreciate the meticulous attention to detail and painstaking craftsmanship. It is truly a work of art, almost better suited for display than saving par from 5 feet! Like all Bettinardi putters, the Kuchar Model 1 is made right in Illinois, individually milled from soft Carbon Steel with a Pewter PVD finish. Matt's design input includes a wide body for more heel/toe weighting, providing greater balance and more stability through the stroke. Bettinardi incorporated their F.I.T. Face (Feel Impact Technology), a detailed milling process that removes 55 percent of the face material for a much softer feel at impact. The ball feels as if it lingers on the face of the club as you feel the soft impact throughout your arms, providing instant feedback. Over time you'll stop thinking and take your hands/wrist out of the equation, and start sinking more putts! Standard 35" shaft length with 3 degrees of loft; 350 grams. Arm Lock (USGA approved alternative to belly putters, used by Matt Kuchar on tour) with 42" shaft length — rests just under the left elbow, with 7 degrees of loft; 400 grams.
