Wow, great product. No fogging or leaking. I'm a convert.
I've been snorkeling about 30 years and have a great mask & snorkel which I love. However, I was in the middle of some dental work so I bought the Head Sea Vu for our recent trip to Bonaire to avoid biting down on a mouthpiece. Wow. I've been converted. It works great. I didn't experience any fogging or water in my eyes (I normally get at least some water leakage in my mask). I also didn't have the "indents" around my eyes I normally get from a tight mask. Note: directions say to NOT use any anti-fogging products. The cons of the SeaVu didn't present any issues but I will mention them: 1) The way the snorkel snaps on/off looks like it could break easily. You have to rock it back & forth to get the snorkel off and there are no directions telling you how to do this. I found this info from reviews by other users. I took an extra SeaVu on my trip in case it broke. I ended up letting a friend whose been snorkeling & diving for 40 years use it - she loved it and is buying one for herself. 2) A few times after about 30 min of snorkeling, it sounded like I was blowing through a straw into a glass of water. It didn't affect my breathing, I somehow got it to stop by blowing hard, and I never did figure out what caused it. 3) It's harder to talk so others can hear you - you have to pull up the whole mask. 4) To keep the water out of the mask, I preferred to put it on before entering the water. Great when entering from the beach but from a boat I always preferred to put on my mask when in the water. Note: My son bought his family much cheaper full face masks. They worked fine for them but you could see the difference in quality and workmanship (also, they didn't snorkel often or for very long).
I would recommend this product
