Don't let this watch fool you — it may have the rugged good looks of a traditional field watch, but its precision movement is cutting edge! Bulova's Military Collection features exclusive technology powering unparalleled accuracy to within seconds a year. Inside this Bulova UHF timepiece the high performance quartz movement vibrates at an incredible 262 kHz (compared to 32 kHz in a standard quartz movement). And, this high frequency movement also features a smooth, sweeping second hand, not the "ticking" type seen on most quartz watches. Sixty-second index encircles the dial's outer ring for easy timing — provides a welcome visual complement to the coin edge bezel. Screw-back 316L stainless steel case and screw-down crown ensure water resistance to 330 feet. Scratch-resistant mineral crystal and large, easy-to-read hands and numerals are super-luminescent, so a quick glance tells you how much longer you'll be stuck in that dark theater. Date window is integrated into 6 o'clock for unobtrusive convenience. Chronograph movement powers minute, second and 1/20 second hand. Genuine leather strap. 42mm case.
