When die-hard White Sox fan Ken Small learned his beloved Comiskey Park was being torn down, he felt a piece of his heart go with it. Luckily, he'd already crafted a replica football stadium for his final project in 7th grade wood shop class, (while everyone else made the standard bookcase). So, to keep his fond memories alive, Ken created replicas of Comiskey Park and his alma mater's Orange Bowl for his office shelf. Today, with dozens of NCAA Stadium Replicas (including many that are sadly long gone), you too can take a trip down memory lane! Each is meticulously designed using aerial photos on layered wood for a stunning 3-D effect. Six electric powered LEDs in the base flood the field for that exciting night game atmosphere. The back of each stadium has interesting facts, photos and historical tidbits meticulously written by Ken (a former sports writer). And the crystal clear acrylic cover keeps it safe and dust free. A thoughtful gift for your favorite fan — its slim design is also a perfect addition to your own den, office or fan cave! Base measures 12"L x 3¾"W.
